  74 Responses to “Angry Birds”

    • I’m going nuts over trying to find an egg that to get the star in that egg, you have to open and close the birds beak?! I still have no clue how or where to find it??! I have seen the answer but not where to find that egg?! Like jeopardy they give you the answer you have to answer in a question!! HELP thank you

  1. Thank you very much for your helpful Angry Birds website. Your information is much easier to understand than just about anywhere else! Two questions if I may….

One, there is a new 7th world on Angry Birds called “Birdday Party”. Have you found any golden eggs hiding in there yet?

Two, as yourself admit you re-order the golden egg numbers. Also, the current version of Angry Birds has so many golden eggs that they can all no longer fit on to one screen. Some of the eggs you show on page one of the Golden Eggs level now are on page two. As such it is sometimes difficult to try and verify which golden eggs I have and which I don’t. Any suggestions here?

Please understand I hold your website in the highest regard!

    • Andy,

      Thanks for the info.

The new version isn’t available yet on the Mac. As soon as it’s becomes available I’ll try to see if there is any way I can renumber the eggs or edit the videos to make it easier to follow.

      • No worries! If you don’t want to wait for the Mac version, I play AB on my iPhone. I think in an earlier post, you said you play both on your MacBook and iPhone, maybe? If I discover anything first, I will post it here. I was able to get the three golden eggs in “Mine & Dine” thanks for your info, so it is still very helpful. Just by doing a simple count, I have 22 of the 26 known golden eggs. The only ones I don’t have are for masters of Worlds 3 thru 6, which means I should have spent more time getting three stars on those levels. *%$#@!

  2. Wonderful and helpful site! How soon for the new number 7 high scores?

  3. I am an avid (tho not compulsive) angry birds players with all stars eggs and achievements except for SMASH MANIAC (bug???) but only play on the iPhone. I was wondering if you had noticed if the game physics are differ for different platforms as I have noticed from your excellent videos a definite lack of explosion power from close release of the white birds egg bomb and also a lack of slower block damage and demolition! i.e. falling blocks disintegrate easier in your vids even when hit exactly (I think) the same or falling the same at the same speeds etc?
Im not moaning about my lower scores more just interested if this is the case?!?
Please continue your excellent and thoroughly respected hard work it is much appreciated!!!
    Henry :)))

    • Hi Henry,

I’ve played on the iPhone, iPod Touch, MacBook Pro and the PC (a little bit). The physics appear to be the same on all the platforms, although I personally prefer the bigger screen on the computer versions.
BTW, Each level took many, many tries before getting the optimal block disintegration, explosions etc. If you saw the discarded footage, you’d definitely see a movie’s worth of failed attempts!

  4. Just want to take a minute and thank you for all your time. I found this site months ago after obtaining 3 stars on all. Became obsessive with scores and your tips and videos are have helped my scores. Again, thank you for your time. Are you going to do chapter 18 anytime soon?

  5. please help there a new 3 level in Episode 5: Ham ‘Em High i cannot get the 3 star so i cant get the golden egg, please release e new video contain how to get 3 star in that level,

  6. Just wanted to say thanks for putting up this site. This is by far the best website for high scoring for angry birds. I was truly amazed by some of your solutions as I know they probably took a great deal of time to figure out. I have taken months to go back and try to score as many points as possible so I can only imagine how much time you have in it. I am now ranked 160 (top 50 – 75 have obviously cheated the system if you look at their scores) out of 23 million plus thanks to your site. I used a lot of your strategies and even was able to improve on some of them. I look forward to further updates and am going to tackle Rio soon. If anyone wants to friend me look me up in game center and I can help if needed. Anyway, thanks again!

  7. Thanks for your site. Very interesting. I have been trying to get my overall ranking into the top 1000 all time. Right now like 1400s.
I found your site because I was looking for info on scores for world 14. My scores for individual levels are overall very close to your top scores posted (some higher some lower) however my ranking is still like 580000 on this world of 4.6 million whereas in all other worlds, episodes etc. I rank in top 1000 to 3000 all time and I have played this level much more than the others to the point I can hardly raise any scores. I can’t believe there are almost 600000 with higher s ores on this on level when I rank so highly in others.

Do you know if war eagle scores count as I have yet to buy it?

    • On recent versions of the game there are three additional bonus levels for World 14. I haven’t done walkthroughs for them yet on this site, but if you haven’t played those levels, it would probably account for your lower ranking on World 14.

  8. Thanks. My version has 15 levels.

    • do you know how i can get those additional 3 levels?

Also just for your information. I just started going back to your posted scores for other levels. only compared 3 worlds thus far and found plenty of worlds to work on. i have higher scores than yours on only 8 to levels so far in the 3 worlds, mostly not much higher, a few hundred but on world 1-12, my score is some 7000 higher than yours. just thought you might like to know thats one world where you have a little room for improvement. my score there is 60470. thanks again for your site. will check alll levels as i get to it and if you wish will let you know if i have other levels that are signifigantly higher than your posted ones.

      • It could be that some devices don’t have the three additional levels. Not sure about this. Otherwise, it should just be a matter of updating to the most recent version of the game. (with update method dependent on what device you have).

BTW, at least five levels have changed since these walkthroughs were posted a year ago: 1-12 (roof now made of ice instead of wood), 1-15 (ice, stone, and wood rearranged on all three towers), 1-20 (placement of blocks has changed slightly), 2-12 (one of the central columns is now wood rather than stone), and 3-5 (roof now made of ice rather than stone, and the pig in the attic is prevented from rolling).

        Also, about a dozen or so levels have comments outlining possibly better strategies. (e.g. 4-21, 5-3, 5-8, 5-20, 6-10, 8-5, 8-10, 9-9, 14-4, 16-7). I haven’t tested the strategies, but they may be worth a try.

  9. one more comment, What is your current world ranking?

  10. Theater333, you have an epic set of scores for all levels in ABO. Do you use Angrybirdsnest.com? If you do, I don’t know your username there. I think you’d be a super asset to the site. I’d like to see how your scores compare to some of theirs… and mine as well.

This is for anyone else who wishes to share their scores, be competitive, compare strategies, and general Angry Birds ideas on a very respectable site. Please check it out if you haven’t already.

With that said, I still come back to watch theater333’s videos, because the strategies he use render higher scores than the videos on ABN. Though if you read comments, the players have figured out and describe in great text detail how to obtain higher scores.

  11. Accepted your challenge for 14-9. Didn’t beat your score, but improved mine from 104,100 to 105,840.

  12. I just read on angrybirdsnest.com that the latest Angry Birds update includes Power-Ups on some devices that make it easier to record high scores on individual levels. I hope this site still remains useful for those trying to improve their scores. In playing the game, I personally found breaking into the “top 100 scores in Massachusetts” on any level was very satisfying in and of itself regardless of published rankings!

  13. Greetings from Greece! First of all Gongratulations for this epic blog, for your time u dedicated exploring angry birds and for sharing your achievements! My sister and I, play angry birds from the beginning of it s time and with your assistance we made more epic scores!
We would like to ask u if you are planning to publish further videos for ‘birthday party’ and ‘surf n turf’ levels? (but with no cheats of course like m.eagle or the last update which disappeared the crystal)

    Take care dude!!!
    Vagelis-Sofia

  14. I fixed the numbering system of the Golden Eggs so that they now correspond to the official version.

  15. Crystal rankings are no longer available in case anyone is trying to find them on their mobile devices. The high score targets provided on this site, however, should still provide a good “snapshot” of score rankings in the spring of 2011, after the game had been out for more than a year.

    • Someone from ABN referred me to this site i left a comment the other day but haven’t received reply, could someone explain how it works here?

      • Hi Kathy,

Not sure what may have happened to your previous comment, but thanks for this one! Basically this is just a site for high score strategies in the original Angry Birds. Other than comments, there isn’t really an interactive component to this site (i.e. no leaderboards, forums etc). which you can find on ABN.

There is, however, a “this day in history” challenge (at the bottom of the page) that links a historical event to each level of Angry Birds. I am from the United States so many of the historical references are taken from American or European history (since that is what I am most familiar with). I do realize Angry Birds is an international game, (created by Rovio in Finland) but hope the historical references have some “general purpose” educational and entertainment value.

BTW, the level titles aren’t “official” titles but just fun phrases that came to mind while playing each level.

  16. A lot of levels are non-reproducible. Because updating?

    • Not that I am aware of. Remember this site concentrates on high score walkthroughs, and many of these can take quite a bit of time to reproduce. I do know, however, that levels 1-12, 1-15, 1-20, 2-12 and 3-5 have changed slightly since these videos were posted. (I think these levels were harder to get three stars in and were made a little bit easier).
