  4. Wow, the best AB vises on the internet, keep up the good work. I had no idea that the mac version was so far behind. World 15 is out on the iPhone.

  5. theres a new golden egg in the mine and dine update, the mine and dine update is hard

  6. how to get the the mine and dine an other episode (2-episodes) i completed all 4 episode but not all with 3 stars so pls help me……

    • I am playing on the Mac, and World 14 and Mine and Dine are still not available on this platform (as of 7/11/11). As soon as they become available I will try to do some more videos.

  7. Angry Birds worlds 14-16 have been released for PC.

Angry Birds Rio worlds 7-8 have been released for PC.

Theater333 please check your game updates, and complete/post the levels when you get a chance.

    Thank you.

  8. Could you please tell what to do with the golden eggs with music in them? Also how to I complete the golden egg with has the chest. Thanks

    • If you click on the yellow links above, there will be a video and description for how to get each golden egg. Also if you click the lower right hand corner of any video (on the YouTube logo), it will bring you to the YouTube channel interface, where sometimes there will be additional helpful comments left by viewers.

  9. I cant see the episode 5, I just got 3 stars in all levels and still hidden, can you help?

  10. Thans so much. Without your help I had never found all the eggs. Keep it up!

  11. Thank you so much for pulling all of this together into one neat spot. As of today, I’ve completed Angry Birds (Original), Angry Birds RIO and Angry Birds Seasons….with Three Stars for all games and gotten all Golden Eggs/Fruits. Took me MONTHS to get there and tons of hours but I did it and looking forward to the future updates. I couldn’t have done it with the help of those on the internet. So..THANK YOU!!

  12. What are “state rankings”?

    • They are a measure of how the published score ranks in the state of Massachusetts (my home state) according to Crystal (a feature of the Mobile App). For example, a “state ranking” of 125 means that the score was the 125th best in the state at the time of YouTube publication.
If you click on a link for any level, there will be other high ranking scores provided as targets to “shoot for.”

      • Is there an overall ranking? (all states)?

        • National and global rankings are also provided by Crystal. Unfortunately, the system became overrun by hackers, making the rankings generally meaningless. I am fortunate to live in a state with a fairly large population and yet few hackers, so the scores and rankings seem reliable. (There are still a handful of hackers, however, which is why I don’t provide the top score as a target.)

          • Thanks for the helpful information.
Do you think the leaderboards by episode and world are reliable?

          • I haven’t checked them recently since I migrated from my iPod Touch to the Mac. I seem to recall the World leaderboards on Crystal were reliable, but I was not being ranked correctly in the Episodes because of hackers. Most of my high scores are on the Mac now, so I don’t check with Crystal anymore (except to provide high score targets for this website)

  13. The reason I ask, is because I’ve been struggling with Angry Birds – HD. My ranking – all time – is in the 30’s.
There are a few obviously hacker scores at the top, but in my area they seem reasonable.
As another question, what is the source of your video high scores?
They seem to be better than any others.
    Just curious.

    • I am playing on the Mac, which usually provides updates months after the mobile versions have been released. Before playing each level I generally check out other Youtube clips and comment fields for strategy ideas. I then spend an hour (or many hours!) on each level trying out the different techniques. I have not been crediting the “winning” strategy to date. If “High Scores in Angry Birds” ever becomes popular (right now it is only a tiny niche) I can always go back and try to find the original publisher of each method. Perhaps going forward I will start crediting commenters, particularly as the fan base has become more centralized and is not as much of the “Wild West”. Not sure about all this right now….

  14. Hi T3.

Paul again, from a couple of months back. I just noticed you’ve uploaded some strategies from World 15 and 16. Up to now, since getting 3 stars in each level, I’ve replayed each level once through and ‘maxed’ out on all the worlds, apart from 15 and 16. Many times i have checked your strategies while doing this. Most of the time i could repeat your method (some take many many goes!) On very few occasions ive worked out new strategies and beaten even the top 10 scores by a few thousand points. When I finally reached replaying world 15 to ‘max out’ your strategies were not published yet so I had to ‘go it alone’ after all these months of ‘training’ and work out my own ones. Now you’ve started posting the Mine and Dine methods it will be very interesting for me to compare scores with you and your state to see how I got on! Brilliant!! I’ve been looking forward to this day for some weeks now 🙂

My platform is HD on the iPad.

Some more questions and comments – when people say they have completed the game I wonder if they mean they have all the trophies and feathers to…….

Any idea why the hackers scores can’t be verified and deleted from the score tables? It seems strange in this day and age there isn’t a defense against these sad people?

How do you find the time to do all this work and record the videos?!? It must take significant effort.

I think a world Angry Birds convention is long overdue, where fellow addicts can meet, compare notes, compete on newly devised levels on the big screen, play paintball, arm-wrestle etc. 😉

Thanks again for all the videos,

    Paul.

    • Hi Paul,

Thanks again for the strategy tip on 9-12. That was definitely one of the levels I spent “many hours” on when there was a simple solution available!

There seems to be at least three tiers of completing the game (on the computer version): Judging by traffic to this site, the most popular by far is just collecting all the golden eggs. The second tier for enthusiasts is getting three stars in each level (most people don’t use my videos for this). The final tier for hard-core fans is getting high scores in each level. As mentioned before, this tier currently appeals to only a small fraction of players. Perhaps if a more reliable ranking system were deveoped, or there were incentives for getting high scores, this niche would grow.

It does appear that hackers have undermined most attempts at a valid ranking system. I guess the fight against hackers is a necessary part of the fabric of the internet – just an ongoing battle in designing secure systems.

Most of the work on this site took place during a marathon two-month stretch this spring (when the Mac Version was introduced). I think I have a bit of an obsessive-compulsive streak in me which Angry Birds taps into!

A world Angry Birds convention does sound like an interesting idea.

      Thanks for the comment!

  15. T3 – We’d like to add our thanks for your incredibly helpful hints and videos. And I’d like to comment on your point about the 3 ‘tiers’ or ‘classes’ of people you find using your videos and website. My wife and I started out just trying to get three stars on all levels. When we’d exhausted our own ideas about how to solve a particular level, we’d poke around on YouTube to see who’d found an elegant solution. More often than not, we’d find one of your videos and pretty quickly we found that your videos were superior to all others for several reasons. The primary being that they were neatly edited and weren’t grainy, weirdly narrated, or overly long. The next being that they show not just how to get three stars, but how to get a high score while doing it.

Once we’d achieved 3 stars on all levels we were hooked and moved to the next ‘tier’ where we’ve become somewhat fanatical about achieving high scores and moving up in the ranks. We actually keep a simple Excel spreadsheet to compare our score against those you post here so that we know which levels we really need to work on and which we feel we’re more or less done with. (Using you as the gold standard, so to speak)

We play on the iPad and we’re currently ranked 59th out of 1,825,129 players and I believe Paul above, if he goes by the handle “Wilster73”, is ranked 50th. (Look out Paul, we’re catching up! 🙂 ) Without your videos and hints, I’m quite certain we wouldn’t be in the top 1000, much less the top 100.

So for all that selfless help, we wanted to add our thanks to the growing legion of T3 followers and let you know that all the hard work you’re putting into this is extremely appreciated.

Bill & Alicia. (“MomOfTwoInCO” – and ‘Dad of 2’ as well, of course)

  16. Did you update version 1.6.3 on mac yet???? It just came out a few days ago. 2 more golden eggs to catch.

  17. There is a new tab called Angry Birds Credits that lists earlier published strategy ideas similar to the one’s used in the videos on this site. This may take a while to complete and will not be perfect, but I think it’s probably worth a try….

  18. I recently updated angry birds on my iPad and found the level scores on crystal had disappeared.
Do you know why that happened and if I can get them back?
    Thanks for your completed postings.

    • Jim, I just checked my iPhone and I lost the level scores too! (Note to readers: these are just the level scores recorded by Crystal which are used as “high score targets” on this site; your actual level scores are not at all effected by this)

  19. I also meant to ask if you have posted scores for the three extra games on 5-14.

    • Hi Jim, I am playing on a MacBook Pro (computer game) and an iPhone (mobile game). I know that the various devices and platforms have slight differences in terms of additional features, glitches, bonus levels, etc. (My Mac version does not provide any of the extra levels found on many mobile devices.)

  20. Thanks for your reply. Please ignore my latest post as you’ve already answered it.
    Wonder what got into Crystal.

    • Perhaps recording scores for each level just got too cumbersome. I personally found the level score targets to be one of the most important tools in achieving high scores.

      • it’s a true pity indeed, especially since they dropped those individual level high scores a few days prior to me getting the highest recorded score on level 16-7 found on any of the score comparing sites. I wanted to compare with crystal but unfortunately they were gone.

btw nice job on this site, it has helped me climb the ladders of gamecentre, curious about the upcomming episode, can’t wait for it being released.
